strenGtheninG Prison Ministry throUGh DialoGUe, collaborations anD MoDern solUtions Overview A half-day gathering for faith leaders, faith-based organizations and partners, correctional leaders and professionals, technology providers who have an interest in faith-based programming and services in corrections. Explore the needs, challenges and opportunities for prison ministry. Agenda Highlights Opening Panel: The Needs of Prison Ministry Utilizing a stakeholder-focused approach, discuss the faith needs of the incarcerated community, corrections professionals, correctional agencies and systems. Breakout Session Engage in issue-focused breakout discussions focused on challenges, and practical, proven solutions to address the challenges that impede access and the effectiveness of prison ministry. Among the challenges to be explored, attendees will discuss staffing, volunteer recruitment and retention, safety and security concerns and means for effectively providing prison ministry in a digital world.
