Overview The Leveraging Technology to Strengthen Education and Reentry session is an opportunity for attendees to discuss needs, challenges, and solutions specific to the educational and reentry services provided to the justice-involved population. Attendees will collaborate regarding viable solutions to overcome challenges faced by corrections professionals charged with providing quality education and reentry services for a diverse population of incarcerated individuals. The event will feature tabletop displays and collaborative discussions with educators in corrections that allow attendees to network and connect in accordance with their system’s unique needs. Fireside Chat Landscape of Technology Application in Education and Reentry • A moderated discussion on the landscape of effective and innovative technology use in education and reentry. Network & Collaborate Let’s Talk Needs and Solutions • A collaborative learning session, this segment is a tabletop discussion among attendees. Panelists and various education directors will discuss the needs, barriers and technology solutions to address education and reentry in the correctional environment. Attendees will have an opportunity to exchange ideas and share strategies. Gather Solutions and Ideas • Explore the needs, barriers and technology solutions to address education and reentry in the correctional environment.
