Beyond the Game: Collaborative Responses to Gambling in the Cuyahoga County Jail Room: 320 Primary Community of Focus: Behavioral Health Overview: Problem gambling is an often-overlooked behavioral health issue in correctional settings, yet it can significantly affect inmate behavior, facility safety, and post-release outcomes. In the Cuyahoga County Jail, gambling-related behaviors may contribute to debt, coercion, interpersonal conflict, and disciplinary incidents, often intersecting with mental health and substance use challenges. This workshop explores how corrections officers and behavioral health professionals can work together to identify, manage, and respond to gambling-related concerns. Participants will learn evidence-informed strategies for observation, screening, communication, intervention, and referral, emphasizing practical, real-world application within jail operations. Chest X-ray detects abnormalities of asymptomatic TB, which accounts for 50% of TB. With US TB cases at a 12-year high (10,388 in 2024), correctional facilities are a critical frontline. We present AI-powered mobile X-ray screening from prisons in Mozambique, Haiti, and Central African Republic with results in under five minutes, no on-site radiologist required, where about 20,000 were screened and 600 diagnosed with TB. strategies between corrections officers and behavioral health staff to support coordinated responses.
