The guide provides essential exemplary practices for justice professionals in youth and young adult case planning, emphasizing collaboration with systems to address reentry needs and prevent crises. Participants will learn actionable strategies based on technical assistance and research to enhance reentry programs and support systems. The workshop also covers upcoming changes to CHIP/Medicaid coverage for justice-involved youth and young adults, effective January 2025 and 2026. By the end, participants will gain practical tools and insights to improve reentry planning and support, leading to better outcomes for these individuals. Career Resource Centers, Certification and Reentry Programs Creating Successful Futures for Incarcerated Individuals Room W240 D Overview: This presentation is going to highlight the positive impact of Career Resource Centers, Certification and Reentry Programs within Correctional Industries. We will feature two (2) Correctional Industry business operations. We will discuss how their training, skills development, employment opportunities and post-release employer partners are making a difference not only to the incarcerated individuals but also in their communities. This presentation will include the details of the different programs available; success stories and you will hear from the incarcerated individuals themselves how Correctional Industries has positively changed their lives.
