However, recent research and analysis of recidivism have common themes. Recidivism is affected by a myriad of social forces outside the control of a correctional agency. Most notably, the recent COVID-19 pandemic has been one of the largest impacts on recidivism metrics. There is no single definition of, or methodology for calculating, recidivism and it is unlikely one could be agreed upon

with pangenotypic direct-acting antiviral medications. • Make appropriate decisions and adjustments to patients’ HCV treatment plan in the event of interruptions in medications using AASLD recommendations. • Articulate the central importance of treating co-occurring substance use disorder as a part of any HCV elimination program. In Georgia, the educational level of those with an educational need is seventh grade and below. It is clear there is a dire need to educate those in our care. The biggest challenges we are facing in Georgia in the correctional facilities are educational staff vacancies and out of field instructors. Georgia recognized these challenges and sought methods that would allow effective educational practices to continue. These challenges were solved through the development of a digital library housed in a cloud storage system.
