Welcome to the ACA 2025 Winter Conference!
WELCOME
It is an honor to welcome you to Orlando, Florida for ACA’s 2025 Winter Conference. It is wonderful to be back in Orlando, where we have found a little warm weather in the winter season and a host venue primed to deliver an outstanding opportunity to come together to teach, communicate and map out the future of our profession. This promises to be a very busy week for corrections professionals. In order to address the topics you have prioritized, ACA has scheduled three symposiums that will provide all day, in-depth looks at significant issues facing corrections professionals. Making the Case; Drones; and Evolving Spaces will cover important topics from top to bottom to give our attendees a thorough grounding in these critical topics. We have also organized a host of educational workshops featuring the
best in the business to pass on critical knowledge and engage in important discussions. I am also very excited to meet and hear from Gold Medalists Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall at our General Session. The Orange County Convention Center will also host our famous Exhibit Hall that will be filled with the most important exhibitors with all the latest technology and services correctional professionals need. The Exhibit Hall will be a hub of activity, and you will find old and new friends passing through, giving you the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with a cross section of the corrections profession. At this time, I want to acknowledge the hard work and thank the visionary leadership of our host committee. Their steadfast efforts and timely advice have made the planning process run smoothly and helped us to build a first-class experience. Most of all, I am looking forward to seeing many of you and having the chance to renew old friendships and build new ones. I am always energized and empowered after meeting and talking with ACA members, because they represent the passion and professionalism that makes corrections such an important and unique field. Thank you for attending ACA’s 2025 Winter Conference in Orlando, Florida. I hope all of you who chose to grace our Conference with your presence will find this experience useful and helpful in your professional development.
