Opioid Summit A Holistic Approach to the Treatment of Opioid Use Disorder Monday, Aug. 25, 2025 • 8–11:45 a.m.
T he Opioid Summit aims to train multidisciplinary correctional staff on opioid use disorder (OUD) and medications for OUD (MOUD), fostering a unified, evidence-based approach to treatment in jails and prisons. By educating custody, medical, mental health, reentry and leadership teams, the training reduces stigma, promotes empathy and encourages coordinated care.
