First of a Two Part Series: The winter conference in Orlando, FL will feature a first of its kind drone arena for live demonstrations of capabilities and technolo gies to keep our correctional facilities safe.
Overview: Join us at the American Correctional Association 154 th Congress of Correction in Nashville, TN for a Special Ses sion on the critical issue of drone intrusions into correc tional facilities. As technology advances, so do the challenges facing our correctional system. Drones are increasingly being used to smuggle contraband into prisons, posing a seri ous threat to the safety and security of staff and inmates. This Special Session will provide valuable insights and strategies for addressing this crisis, including the latest in detection and prevention techniques. Multiple states will feature their progress and challenges in addressing this critical security and safety threat. This session will feature very compelling visuals of how these contraband drones are being used and how threat mitigation is being deployed. You will also receive an up to the moment briefing on pending legislation and Federal Aviation Administration regulations that will impact our ability to stay ahead of these threats.
