Understand the power of faith-based programming in creating transformational opportunities resulting in reductions in institutional violence and creating post-release success. Four state directors will join coach Gibbs on this panel and discuss how each of their states are enforcing faith-based initiatives.

A s the head coach of an NFL football team from 1981-1992 and 2004-2007, Coach Joe Gibbs led them to nine playoff appearanc es, four NFC Championship titles and three Super Bowl wins over 16 total seasons, earning induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. As founder and team owner of Joe Gibbs Racing, he clinched five NASCAR Championships and was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame, making him the only person to be inducted into two Hall of Fames.

Joe also founded Game Plan for Life in 2009, a ministry aimed at spreading the message of Christ to all by empowering them to let God be their head coach. In 2016, Coach Gibbs, in collaboration with NCDAC and SEBTS, initiated a seminary in the North Carolina Prison System, where North Carolina Field Ministers currently serve in 13 prisons throughout the state.
