Evidence

supports that patients with increased anxiety are less likely to seek and obtain quality dental care or address dental concerns. In addition to direct emotional anxiety there is indirect factors from socioeconomic and familial influence that impact oral health. We will provide strategies to reduce emotional responses and proactively engage individuals in taking a more active role to increase their dental IQ which will lead to the development of healthier oral habits.
