C-3A Winning Mindset in Corrections Room 125B Track: Staff Training The presentation will show how leaders are not recognizing negative influences as it affects their leadership ability. We will discuss how work challenges (staffing shortages, contraband, work culture) impact them. With a winning mindset participants will see their shortcomings and understand how it impacts those around them. Participants will hear how positive interaction and a winning mindset will help the overall work environment Learning Objectives: • Understand the importance of keeping a winning mindset at work. • Identify negative stressors that can affect your mindset. • Identify ways of using objectives to keep focused.
