C-1H The Care and Management of Transgender and Gender Dysphoric Inmates: Challenges and Opportunities (CE, Y CE, CME) Room 128B Track: Healthcare This presentation will provide a multidisciplinary overview of the intake and management of the transgender prison population. It will address inmates that have already begun their transition prior to intake, completed their transition prior to intake and those who began their transition after intake. It will describe the evaluation processes, including administration of a comprehensive psychological evaluation and approach taken when evaluating those inmates who choose to begin transition
