A-2D Evidence-Based and Results Driven Practices in Workforce Development at the Florida Department of Corrections Room 253 Tracks: Reentry/Community Corrections This presentation will explore ways in which the Florida Department of Corrections is meeting the programming and services needs of its incarcerated population and returning citizens and the labor needs in the communities to which they will be returning, with a focus on a multi-disciplinary approach to career development and release planning and the value of community partnerships to reduce recidivism.
