Additionally, the panel will present on the wellness nexus between staff and those who are sentenced care and treatment in a jail, prison or probation/parole; including how wellness approaches might differ between a confined setting and an office setting. Finally, the panel will discuss how to get back to basics with wellness and the complexity of returning to the new normal before the next winter flu season begins. Millennials make up the vast majority of today’s

current workforce. Employers need to better understand what Millennials expect from their employers in order to provide a positive work experience and gain the most productivity from the employee. A Millennial is defined as an individual born between 1981 and 1996. Millennials currently represent 35% of the US workforce, and by the year 2025 will make up 75% of the US workforce. It is imperative to understand the motivations, needs and expectations of Millennials in order to attract and engage them to keep these employees within the criminal justice field.
