C-3H Innovative Solution: Incorporating Staff Wellness into Suicide Prevention Education (CERP, CE-RN, CME) Room 257 Track: Multi-Disciplinary Service Team A new innovative presentation from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is being piloted within the Indiana Department of Correction that combines suicide prevention content with a staff wellbeing component. The presentation has space to incorporate department specific policies for the incarcerated population as well as specific resources available for staff. This workshop will assist in understanding a new (free) solution that is available through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention that incorporates staff wellbeing and annual suicide prevention training, to create a culture that considers everyone’s mental health.
