We’ll share our process of formulary development, outside stakeholder involvement, drug research and form creation. We’ll also show you how you can utilize Microsoft Teams and Power Automate to create a non-formulary review process when you don’t yet have an electronic health record in place, which includes perpetual storage and tracking capabilities. Approaching the issue from a multi-disciplinary perspective has removed silos between internal partners, provided new insight on the problem and allowed for creative solutions.

Sharing the role of suicide prevention has also increased support to correctional facilities so they are no longer alone in their fight to reduce suicides. We will review where we began, discuss lessons learned and highlight initiatives implemented throughout the agency with the goal of reducing suicides and supporting staff.
