ACA’S LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

ACA’s Leadership Development Program teaches participants to assess the challenging dynamics of their organizational culture and their role as leaders within it. The training can be customized to meet the needs of agencies.

BASIC LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR THE CORRECTIONS PROFESSIONAL This course includes forty (40) hours of instruction and is designed for new managers in a juvenile or adult correctional agency. The purpose of this course is to provide a management foundation, instill leadership skills, and improve the professional focus of participants to increase their agency’s future leadership pool and provide professional growth.

ADVANCED LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR THE CORRECTIONS PROFESSIONAL This course includes eighty (80) hours of instruction and is designed for mid to upper-level managers in a juvenile or adult correctional agency. The purpose of this course is to sharpen the management/ leadership skills of participants, improve their effectiveness, prepare them for promotion and afford them the opportunity to take the ACA’s Certification Examination.
