This course will identify specific components of the investigative process to develop confidence in all stages to complete a case report for prosecution/ administrative action.

Training topics include: This course will cover fundamentals of correctional investigations; to include:

• Criminal and administrative cases • Crime scene containment, search processes • Collection and preservation of physical evidence • Systematic procedures • Sources of information/intelligence • Interviews and interrogation • Case preparation for DA review • Court testimony
