use, including whether or not images will be recorded. Only licensed and insured operators may operate a drone or UAS on or over NOPFMI property. The drone or UAS must be operated in a safe manner at all times. PROHIBITED USES: No UAS or drone is allowed in the Convention Center without prior written approval by the New Orleans Public Facility Management, Inc. No UAS or drone may be used to monitor or record areas where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy in accordance with accepted social norms.These areas include but are not limited to restrooms, dressing rooms, etc. No UAS or drone may be used to monitor or record sensitive, personal or proprietary information which may be found, for example, on individuals’ workspaces, on computers or other electronic displays. RECORDING IMAGES: Anyone operating a drone or UAS for the purposes of recording or transmitting visual images must take all reasonable measures to avoid recording and/or transmitting images that would normally be considered private. 20) All exhibit and exhibit hall electrical installations, connections and disconnections must be obtained exclusively through the building electrical contractor. 21) In order to preserve tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service, ACA must insist no selling take place in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. However, orders may be taken by vendors. 23) Exhibitors which utilize or include in their exhibit materials or in their exhibit booths (a) material which is copyrighted by another, including without limitation live music or recorded music and/ or videos which may or may not contain background music, or (b) materials incorporating matter subject to any other intellectual property right of another, must obtain proper licenses to use such materials, provided, however, that exhibitors need not obtain a license to utilize music the copyright to which is owned by BMI or ASCAP unless such music is utilized as background music, i.e., in 22) Smoking in the Ernest N. Exhibitors may not dispense food and/or beverages of any kind, including bottled water, without written permission from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and Centerplate. Contact Centerplate for specific details and approval forms. Food and/or beverage purchased outside of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center may not be brought into or consumed within the center. Exhibitors must order their catering online through the Centerplate website at: https://mccnoexpresscatering.ezplanit.com. 17) Helium-filled balloons are allowed in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center only as part of a display and must be securely fastened to the booth. Balloons may not be distributed within the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Exhibitor is responsible for all expenses incurred for removal of balloons that become entangled in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center’s ceiling trusses. Compressed gas cylinders used to inflate balloons must be properly secured to prevent toppling and must be removed from within the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center during all event hours. 18) The use of open flame, including fire acts, or the storage and handling of flammable liquids, chemicals or harmful caustic substances is prohibited, unless approved by the fire marshal. This approval must be coordinated via ACA and received in writing no less than 60 days prior to the date of the show. 19) DRONES: It is the sole responsibility of the drone owner and operator to be familiar with current FAA regulations at the time of drone operation and to follow such regulations without exception. NOPFMI is not responsible for reviewing and updating FAA information as respects to this policy. Any party wishing to use a UAS or drone in, on or over NOPFMI property (Operator) mustsubmit the following information to NOPFMI and Show Management for prior approval. a) The specifications of the proposed UAS or drone (size, weight, height, etc.); and b) A description of the intended
