Working in collaboration, TDOC’s Inspector General and Assistant Commissioner of Prisons developed a plan to conduct a statewide review of institutional security. This review has taken a fresh and unencumbered look at how institutional security operates and how it can be improved and modified due to a variety of circumstances, while also bolstering those tenants of security that must always be adhered to and improved upon.
