facility or not, join the team from “the Dotte” for a candid workshop about the benefits of, concerns with and possibilities for tablets in corrections. In July 2017, the Wyandotte County Adult Detention Center became the first jail in the state of Kansas to implement this technology, and what a learning experience it’s been! Using evidence-based programming, this behavior management tool created meaningful rehabilitation opportunities and increased inmate access to education while ensuring that jail operations continued to be legally implemented in a safe, secure and humane manner.
